To get the authorisation on my card removed as the guy never turned up to do the job
The guy never turned to do the job and airtasker had placed authorisation on my card and seeking confirmation from me to release the funds.

I booked an Airtasker who did not show up and refused to accept the cancellation of the task. Now he is asking for the release of payment.
This complete, shameless thug is called Daisy G in the Kingston area of Canberra.
He has my address, and I'm worried for my safety. I've sent dozens of requests to Airtasker support; there's been no response for three days.

Allowed someone to cancel payment and task 3 days after complete and confirmed as paif
customer has item and task agreed in writing as complete and paid
Was then allowed 3 days later to cancel payment and steal money back.. Ive been desperately trying to get help since and the much needed $90 off dollars.
No notifications were emailed or txt either ad stated should happen

I have completed three jobs for Airtasker customers, and have been paid by these customers. Airtasker, however, has refused to release my payment due to issues with identification.
I have submitted my identification three times, only to have it disappear. After acceptance, it gets rejected at the last minute, and I still haven't received my payment three weeks later. In total, I'm owed $620. I've been in contact with the customers, who have confirmed that they made their payments to Airtasker.
Despite this, Airtasker has not released my funds.
They do not need my identification to legally release the funds, although they've made this a mandatory requirement. This is not a government requirement.

Cancelled fees are $20 not $59. Wheres my money
I dnt suggest air tasker, i went to a clients house, she wasnt home, expect a clean weed free garden with out her being present. I said no, so i dnt get accused of stealing from her premises, i suggested i come back, she said if i m not prepared to wait 1 n half hours.
Cancel the task. So i did, the client was st fault and air tasker billed me. Or i completed a 4 hour job, the client didnt like it and refused to pay, again air tasker billed me.
Then my client released my payment, air tasker kept 70% of my income, gave me a cancellation bill , $59 after the job was completed, with great reviews. Air tasker are theives
Cancellation fees are $20.80 not $59 My client release $159 6 days ago and air taker payed me $59 and kept $100. Thats illegal. Air tasker should be band, every job i have successfully completed, they gave me a callcellation fee.

I got scammed for $169 by the taskers. I checked my bank account this morning and was shocked to see that I got charged for $169 even though you had returned it before.
I hired a guy from your company to cut grass in my garden but he never showed up and his number is no longer active to be called. I am so disappointed right now and I want my money back.

Being scammed
The scammer and fraud person called "Leon J Bastian" has been fooling people as a electrician and other tradie taking their money Nd now showing up. Airtasker didn't do anything about this and still has his profile as a tradie on line.
Lots of fake reviews, please be aware and do not use airtasker for any job you need. Leon came to my house and took deposit for task just to find out that he is a scammer who has been scamming vanurable family for long time.
He is still active and is on Airtasker. If you see this person please report to police ASAP.
User's recommendation: Stay away from airtasker, they don't help with resolution. The tradies in airtasker are not reliable for anything. Impersonating as electrician when they aren't electrician. Please be aware before you invite anyone of these people home. I have attached the pic of the scammer called Leon who is still active on the airtasker website. He took 1000 deposit for work and now isn't answering any calls, no show. Please if you know if him or see him contact the police and report him.

Don't expect service.
What service? No one at air tasker appears to care about anything other than being paid. If you employ them, just hope there is no need for any follow-up.

We have found the airtasker website a very problematic website
Had booked someone tomorrow for assistance with moving house.They have only just notified me that they cant do it tomorrow but can do it Saturday.I have attempted to contact them to say that I am flying back to the UK tomorrow night so wont work.They are not responding which is extremely unsatisfactory.Have been left without anybody
at this late stage.Need help to find
someone else.Certainly would not expect to be charged a cancellation fee.Milly.

The trade's person never trun up to do the job. He completed my job request as completed job fraudulently.
He also called me and asked me to do the on cash. Noe Airtasker is holding funds from my credit card and seeking approval to release funds for incomplete job.
